Hi friends,
I know I haven’t been on here a lot lately, and usually that’s a bad sign, but this time around I’ve just been busy with other things, but not in a bad way. Work has been busy but also good. The kids even voted for me in a sort of Christmas thing where you can nominate a student or teacher you like to win a golden Christmas ornament. I was one of the winners, which I’m very happy about.
In my personal life I just haven’t been writing as much. I’ve done some worldbuilding for both of my series and I’ve been preparing for the fifth volume of The Hesitant Hero that will be published right here on this blog next year. It will follow the adventures of Mirgia while he’s separated from Cobal and he will uncover some pretty important things that are going to be crucial for Cobal’s journey forward. This new volume will debut here on this blog on Friday January 9th. January 2nd will see a recap of the events in volume 4 as well as what was going on with Mirgia before we rejoin him.
Having taken a bit of a break from writing and reading, my new year’s resolution will be to do more of both, but that’s almost always my resolution. This year I didn’t succeed in my goals, but that’s okay. I still wrote just shy of 300.000 words, which is not bad considering how little I wrote in the last three months of the year. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the holidays and I hope you do the same. Merry Christmas and I’ll see you all in January, twice a week if all goes well. Thanks for reading.
