One Piece. One of the longest running, best selling comics of all time. I’ve read most of the story multiple times and I’ve watched hundreds of episodes multiple times as well. A few years ago I decided to buy the first box set and eventually got the subsequent three as well. I never gave myself the time to read them though. I’ve already read them all once digitally and I’m keeping up with the manga weekly on the Mangaplus app. But now I’m reading one old volume every week and writing down my thoughts on them. You can find my thoughts on each volume here. Since One Piece can also be highly political, I’ll sometimes take a moment to specifically highlight the politics of a certain arc. Those kind of posts can be found down below as well, but they’re bonus posts and don’t take up the weekly slot. I can barely stop myself from reading more than one volume a week anyway.
