Deep in the Celeran Canopy we find the remains of a gargantuan tree. Built into the hollow remains of this tree is the Foxire Library, a collection of books, scrolls and trinkets belonging to Archmage Fesquera Foxire. This is where our story begins and where Liari spent her entire childhood. After she was found by the archmage, he brought her here and with the help of the head librarian Miranda he raised her. Now in her early twenties, Liari is a little bit different from most people. Her body resembles that of an elf but she has also grown a fox tail and ears. Despite this odd set-up, Liari is content living in this library, reading her books and organizing the shelves while listening to the stories of the travelers and scholars that visit the library from time to time. This changes when one day a young princess shows up at the library, demanding to speak to the archmage. When both women find out that the archmage was hiding a few more secrets than they thought, they now set out on a journey to find some answers. Something is corroding the fragile peace that the continent enjoyed for a while and there are many different factions plotting for very different futures. As Liari finds out more about her heritage, she has to recognize that her path will forever change the course the world is on, but what path will she choose and will the people around her just idly accept it? For now, let’s start at the beginning of this story with just the girl and the library.
