As you all may have noticed, my upload schedule has been a little bit haphazard lately. I always make big promises and then I stop delivering after a while. If you’ve been reading my stories for long enough then this should no longer really come as a surprise. Regardless, this time around I’ve been very consciously aware of how I spend my time and I’ve been writing significantly less than last month. I’m in the busiest phase of my first year at my job as well as in the process of finishing up several courses at uni. It seems like my priorities have been in the right place since my uni is going well and work is about to be mostly finished too. Realistically, this week is the last busy week I have for the foreseeable future. After this Saturday I’ll have much more time to get back into the swing of things and start writing more. And that’s exactly what I’m planning to do. So what will the next few weeks look like then?
Well, this week should be fairly normal, with a new One Piece volume arriving on Wednesday and (hopefully) a new chapter of The Hesitant Hero on Friday. It’ll cover the fox of good fortune story that the main characters of the book are reading at the Sapphire Respite. I haven’t written this story yet, but I have put some ideas onto paper to develop. If all goes well, I’ll finish this on time.
We then get to July, which is where the order of things will change a little bit. The next chapter of The Necromancer’s Daughter will arrive on July 8th. This is one week later than initially planned, but I need the extra week to finish it properly. After that, things should go back to the normal weekly schedule with the exception that the Necromancer’s Daughter will have to take a backseat for a little while in favor of other projects. I will reduce how often I’ll post a chapter, and it will heavily depend on how well my progress on The Hesitant Hero is going. I want to fully finish the first volume of that this year, and ideally before summer is over, and that quite frankly has the highest priority for at least a little while.
